Sustainability
Demo content: Sustainability is a set of trade-offs. Use this page to share what you do today, what you’re working toward, and how customers can make lower-waste choices.
We minimise plastic where we can, prefer recyclable materials, and right-size cartons to reduce filler and shipping emissions.
We prioritise suppliers who can explain ingredients, manufacturing, and testing—not just marketing claims.
We partner with South African practitioners and brands to keep value (and jobs) close to home.
What we do today
- Lower-waste packing: fewer inserts, minimal filler, and right-sized boxes.
- Consolidated shipping: we bundle items to reduce split shipments where possible.
- Supplier screening: we ask for documentation and manufacturing standards before listing.
- Honest claims: we avoid sensational “detox” or “miracle” language.
Customize: add your packaging materials (paper tape, recycled cartons), logistics partners, and any local sourcing percentages you track.
What we’re improving next
It’s okay to be imperfect—customers value a clear roadmap more than vague promises.
- Introduce a “minimal packaging” option at checkout.
- Publish a supplier transparency checklist per category.
- Offer refill-friendly or bulk options for high-repeat items.
- Track returns waste and reduce avoidable exchanges via better sizing/guides.
Customize: replace this roadmap with your actual quarterly goals and add dates.
How customers can help
A consistent routine beats a drawer full of half-used products.
Consolidated orders usually mean less packaging and fewer deliveries.
Reuse cartons for storage and recycle where your municipality supports it.
